Generating Font Reports |
As Font Box reads and analyzes your fonts, it can generate three kinds of reports:

Generating Old Font InventoriesTo generate an inventory of your old fonts, run Font Box and select all your desired settings in the Analyze Old Fonts, Create Font Library, and Results windows. Then, when Font Box displays the Force Quit dialog box, click the Stop button. Next, select Report from the Font Box File menu to open the Create Font Box Reports window shown above. At this point, to generate an inventory report of your fonts as they currently exist, check the box labeled 'Fonts before running Font Box'. You then specify the type of report output by doing one of the following:
If you want to continue running your Font Box analysis, close the Create Font Box Reports window, then click the 'Create' button in the main Font Box window. Sorting Font Inventory ReportsThe 'Sort the fonts in the report' pop-up lets you specify how you want to sort your inventory reports. The default is to sort alphabetically by font name. You can also sort the inventory by location, listing the full path to each folder that contains fonts and all the fonts within the folder. Including Font Style InformationCheck the boxes labeled Include styles to have Font Box list all the styles (bold, italic, etc.) for the fonts listed in your reports. If you leave the box unchecked, Font Box displays only font family names and no style details. Generating New Font InventoriesTo generate an inventory after Font Box has created your new, clean fonts, finish running your Font Box analysis, select Report from the File menu, check the box labeled 'Fonts after running Font Box', then, as explained above:
